Batsi, has be honing his skill in contemporary and traditional images since 1991 where he attended Malvern High School, where he developed the love and passion for the arts.  After graduating, Muskwe attended Harare Polytech Technical School where he earned a Certificate in Screen Printing.

During this personal development period Muskwe learned the Zimbabwean stone carving art form.  Muskwe started painting professionally in 1995 with the support of The National Gallery of Zimbabwe.

Muskwe brings an extensive genius of color theory, instinctive sense of rhythm, and soul with compositional fundamentals to each painting.

Muskwe has developed his own unique imagery and inimitable flair. With the utmost ability, he invites us to view his works of art from the magical and mystical country of Africa.
